Description
The EXP0408 provides a central point to connect control data lines in systems with multiple PTZ cameras and controllers, balancing control signals, filtering out noise and broadcasting commands across an RS485 network to prevent dropped packets and over-runs.
It has capacity for four control devices such as controller joysticks or DVR data inputs and can drive up to eight slave devices such as PTZ cameras, video switching matrices or recorder data inputs. The unit is built into a compact but robust metal case with high-quality screw-terminal contacts and LED status indicators for easy fault finding, and runs from a 12V DC supply with low power consumption.
