Description
The IRIS1608 is the world's first dedicated marine high-definition video switcher, with eight camera inputs that can be switched to a single HDMI output to display real-time video from your high-definition Iris cameras on a suitable chart plotter or HD TV. It is compatible with chart plotters featuring a digital input, TVs with HDMI inputs and other HDMI-enabled media.
The system comprises a rugged control box and a low-profile, compact, waterproof keypad. The control box installs safely out of sight to keep cabling tidy, while the supplied IRIS580 keypad provides a simple control interface and connects over a single shielded CAT5 cable with a built-in RJ45 socket.
A second keypad port allows an additional IRIS580 keypad so video can be switched from more than one position. For digital inputs other than HDMI, such as DVI or HD-SDI, adapters are available from Iris.
