Description
The Cloudlink2 is a low-cost, small-footprint portal for viewing and controlling on board camera systems remotely. A multi-platform 4G modem router with WiFi failover, it switches to marina WiFi data when in range and automatically falls back to cellular service when out of range, and can even connect to an on board satellite transceiver for greater coverage.
Acting as a WiFi access point or hotspot, Cloudlink2 frees users from the helm so cameras can be viewed on a smartphone, tablet or computer, and provides internet access to other devices. Crucially it is subscription-free: aside from the data charges from your cellular provider, there are no recurring fees once the hardware is purchased. Measuring roughly three by four inches, the durable extruded-aluminium housing can be DIN-rail or surface mounted for discreet installation.
