Description
The Raymarine AIS4000 is a full-function Class A Automatic Identification System (AIS) transponder certified for SOLAS and Inland Waterway applications. Using fourth-generation AIS technology it transmits at 1 W or 12.5 W with a single transmitter and three receivers for robust reception of both AIS channels, broadcasting your vessel's identity, position, course and speed to surrounding ships and shore stations.
A bright 5 inch 800 x 480 colour display gives direct access to integrated charts, alarms and target tracking, with CPA/TCPA data and integrated Man Overboard/PLB alerting. Wired and wireless networking over NMEA 2000 and NMEA 0183, plus an included junction box, support expanded shipboard sensor and ECDIS connectivity. A supplied 72-channel GPS/GLONASS receiver provides the precise position and timing AIS requires.
This is a refurbished AIS4000 supplied as a transponder bundle. It is built to IEC 60945 'Protected' category with IPx6 and IPx7 waterproofing for installation across any vessel class. A dedicated VHF antenna is required.
