Description
The Raymarine DockSense stereo vision camera is the core sensing element of a DockSense Alert or DockSense Control system. Built on FLIR machine vision technology, the camera detects nearby obstacles such as the dock, pilings and other moored vessels and uses advanced motion sensing to accurately measure their distance from the boat.
The data from one or more of these cameras is combined by the DockSense processor to create a 3D map of the area around the vessel, which is rendered as a simplified bird's-eye view on a Raymarine Axiom multifunction display. DockSense Alert systems use one, three or five cameras depending on the coverage required, and the systems are designed for professional engineer installation.
