Description
The Raymarine AR250 is a precision heading and motion-sensing sensor that forms part of a DockSense Alert or DockSense Control assisted-docking installation. DockSense systems require accurate heading and motion data in addition to their 3D stereo vision cameras, and the AR250 supplies this together with its partner sensor.
The AR250 and AR270 combine to create a highly accurate GPS compass system that is unaffected by magnetic interference. This allows DockSense to precisely measure distances to the dock, pilings and nearby vessels and to render a reliable bird's-eye view on a Raymarine Axiom multifunction display. DockSense systems are designed for professional engineer installation.
