Description

The Raymarine CAM300 is an ultra-compact, high-definition day and night IP camera built for the marine environment. Measuring just 52.9 mm tall on a 59.5 mm base, it tucks discreetly under a hardtop, in a cockpit or below deck while delivering crisp 1080p imagery from its 1/4" CMOS sensor and 1.8 mm wide-angle lens with a 125° horizontal field of view.

True day and night operation uses a mechanical IR cut filter, and six 850 nm infrared emitters illuminate the scene up to 10 m in complete darkness. A single cable carries both data and Power over Ethernet (PoE Class 1), simplifying installation, and the rugged IPx6 housing withstands exposed deck conditions. Connected to a compatible Axiom or Axiom 2 multifunction display, the CAM300 supports ClearCruise augmented reality when paired with an AR200 sensor, and its ONVIF Profile S compliance allows integration with third-party recording systems.

Which displays is the CAM300 compatible with?
The CAM300 is compatible with Raymarine Axiom 2 Pro (LightHouse 4 v4.3.54 or later), Axiom 2 XL (LightHouse 4 v4.4.70 or later) and the wider Axiom, Axiom+, Axiom Pro and Axiom XL range, as well as eS, gS and earlier a/c/e Series displays running supported LightHouse software. It is also ONVIF Profile S compatible for third-party security systems. (Source: 81411 Rev 3.)
How far can the CAM300 see in the dark?
Six 850 nm infrared emitters illuminate the scene up to 10 metres in complete darkness, and true day/night operation with a mechanical IR cut filter gives a colour image by day and a clear monochrome image at night. (Source: 81411 Rev 3.)
How is the CAM300 powered and connected?
The CAM300 uses a single cable for both data and power. It is a Power over Ethernet (PoE Class 1, IEEE802.3af) device, and a RayNet to RJ45 adapter cable is required to connect it to a compatible Raymarine multifunction display or network switch. (Source: 81411 Rev 3.)
What resolution video does the CAM300 produce?
The CAM300 uses a 1/4" 3MP CMOS sensor and produces H.264 video at up to 2304 x 1296, displaying up to 1080p on a compatible Axiom display at 30 fps. (Source: 81411 Rev 3.)
Can the CAM300 be used for augmented reality?
Yes. When paired with a Raymarine AR200 sensor on a compatible Axiom display, the CAM300 supports ClearCruise augmented reality, overlaying AIS targets, waypoints and chart objects onto the live video. The CAM300 Augmented Reality Pack (T70581) bundles both items together. (Source: 81411 Rev 3.)
Is the CAM300 waterproof?
Yes. The CAM300 has an IPx6-rated housing and is tested to EN 60945 Section 8 (Exposed), making it suitable for exposed marine installations. (Source: 81411 Rev 3.)
