Description
The Raymarine Ray260 is a compact black-box VHF radio designed for fixed installation on leisure and commercial vessels. Its separate transceiver head and handset make it easy to install in confined spaces or at a second helm position.
Transmitting at 25 W on international, US and Canadian VHF channels, the Ray260 delivers Class D Digital Selective Calling (DSC) for distress alerting and position sharing. The unit supports dual-station operation with intercom between stations, and an integrated hailer with programmable fog signals.
Network connectivity over NMEA 2000 / SeaTalkng and NMEA 0183 allows the Ray260 to share DSC position and call data with connected Raymarine MFDs and instruments. This variant is supplied with a passive external loudspeaker.
