What is the Raymarine Axiom Pro RVX?
The Axiom Pro 9" RVX is an all-in-one HybridTouch multifunction display combining a chartplotter, RealVision 3D sonar and a 1 kW CHIRP sonar. It runs the LightHouse operating system on a quad core processor and can be expanded into a full navigation network.
What sonar does the Axiom Pro RVX include?
It has built-in RealVision 3D sonar, which combines CHIRP DownVision, SideVision, RealVision 3D and a High CHIRP conical channel through the 25 pin RealVision connector, plus a separate 1 kW CHIRP channel through the 11 pin connector for deep water down to 914.4 m (3,000 ft).
What controls does it use?
Axiom Pro RVX uses Raymarine HybridTouch, which combines a responsive touchscreen with a dedicated physical keypad and rotary control, so you can operate the display by touch or by keypad in rough conditions.
How is the Axiom Pro RVX connected to a network?
It has two RayNet Ethernet ports (10/100/1,000 Mbit/s), a DeviceNet (NMEA 2000/SeaTalkng) connection, two NMEA 0183 ports, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, so it can be networked with additional Axiom displays, CHIRP radar, cameras and instruments.
Is the Axiom Pro RVX still current?
The Axiom Pro RVX has been retired and replaced in the Raymarine range by the Axiom 2 Pro. It remains compatible with current LightHouse charts and the wider Raymarine network.
