Description

The Raymarine a78 is a 7 inch all-touch multifunction display that pairs full-function navigation with built-in dual-channel CHIRP DownVision sonar. CHIRP DownVision delivers remarkably photo-like imagery of structure, wrecks and fish beneath your boat, while a second conical CHIRP channel targets fish through the water column. Used with the CPT-100 transducer, the a78 reaches depths of up to 183 m (600 ft).

An optically bonded, sunlight-viewable LED touchscreen, a super-fast dual-core processor with dedicated graphics, and Raymarine's intuitive LightHouse II interface make the a78 fast and simple to operate, with drag-and-drop custom pages and pinch-to-zoom charting. A built-in 50-channel GPS, 3,000-waypoint management and support for LightHouse, Navionics and C-MAP cartography keep navigation precise.

Built-in Wi-Fi lets you view and control the a78 from a smartphone or tablet, and Bluetooth adds wireless MP3 audio control. The a78 networks with Raymarine radar, additional sonar modules, instruments and Evolution autopilots, and can be flush or trunnion mounted.

This system pack is supplied with the CPT-100 DownVision transom transducer for the a78's built-in DownVision sonar, plus the Raymarine CP200 SideVision CHIRP sonar module and its CPT-200 SideVision transom transducer. SideVision adds wide port-and-starboard imaging, building a detailed picture of structure, bait and fish on both sides of your boat, and connects to the a78 over the RayNet network.
