Description
The Raymarine DST800 Smart transducer combines depth, speed-through-water and water temperature in a single 2-inch (51 mm) bronze through-hull fitting. Its digital SeaTalkng / NMEA 2000 output connects straight into your network so the data appears on connected Axiom chartplotters and i70s instruments, with calibration carried out from the display.
Running at 235 kHz, the DST800 is deliberately offset from the usual 50/200 kHz fishfinder band so it will not interfere with a separate fishing transducer. The bronze housing is the right choice for fibreglass or wood hulls, and the retractable insert with its water-stop valve allows cleaning and paddlewheel servicing without flooding the bilge.
It is the network-ready smart depth, speed and temperature sensor for a Raymarine SeaTalkng instrument and chartplotter system fitted to a timber or glass boat.
