Description
The Raymarine 4kW Super HD Colour radar pedestal is the powered scanner base of the Raymarine HD and Super HD Digital Open Array radar range. It houses the 4kW magnetron transmitter, the adaptive digital receiver and the antenna drive, delivering a 72 nautical mile maximum range scale with crisp, lifelike Super HD Colour radar imagery. Super HD adds Antenna Boost and Power Boost processing for enhanced beam sharpening and colour gain.
The pedestal pairs with a Raymarine 48 inch or 72 inch open array antenna to build a complete radar scanner, and is supplied with the VCM100 Voltage Converter Module for connection to 12 V or 24 V power. Scanner rotation runs at 24 RPM, rising to 48 RPM with compatible displays and antennas, and automatic tuning modes optimise the picture for buoy, harbour, coastal, offshore and bird conditions.
