Description
The Raymarine Pathfinder Data Collection Unit (DCU, A80792) is a rugged, intelligent NMEA 0183 multiplexer built on the Actisense PRO-MUX-2 platform. It is designed for seamless integration with Pathfinder ECDIS and Pathfinder Radar CAT 1, CAT 2 and CAT 3 systems, delivering reliable data routing across complex bridge networks.
The DCU provides eight OPTO-isolated NMEA 0183 listener inputs and six ISO-Drive isolated talker outputs, all Hi-Pot tested to 1000 V, with advanced filtering for precise control of navigation and sensor data. An alarm relay (common, normally-open and normally-closed) signals system faults or specific alert IDs. Configuration is via a web-based interface over a 10/100BaseT RJ45 Ethernet port, with diagnostic LEDs for power, data and alarms. It is powered from 9 to 35 V dc.
Housed in 316 stainless steel (210 x 128 x 27 mm, 540 g) and rated to IP40, the DCU mounts on a bulkhead or DIN rail. It is type-approved by RINA, complies with IEC 60945, DNVGL-CG-0339 and IACS UR E10, operates from -25 to +70 degrees C and has a 175 mm compass safe distance.
