Description
The Raymarine Pathfinder Data Collection Unit 2 (DCU-2, A80839) is a rugged NMEA multiplexer designed for seamless integration with Pathfinder ECS and Pathfinder Black Box radar systems. Built on the Actisense PRO-NDC-1E2K platform, it bridges NMEA 0183 and NMEA 2000 networks to route data across complex onboard systems.
The DCU-2 provides five OPTO-isolated NMEA 0183 listener inputs, two ISO-Drive isolated talker outputs and a NMEA 2000 port (250 kbps, M12 male A-coded connector), all with Hi-Pot isolation tested to 1000 V. Ethernet streaming and web-based configuration run over a 10/100BaseT RJ45 port. The unit is powered from 9 to 35 V dc.
Housed in 316 stainless steel (139 x 98 x 26 mm, 360 g) and rated to IP40, the DCU-2 mounts on a bulkhead or DIN rail. It is RINA type-approved, complies with IEC 60945, DNVGL-CG-0339 and IACS UR E10, operates from -25 to +70 degrees C and has a 300 mm compass safe distance. NMEA 2000 certification is pending.
