Description
The Raymarine Pathfinder Black Box Processor (E70708) is the rugged, remotely mounted black-box processor used in the Pathfinder Black Box radar system. Its compact, fan-less architecture simplifies installation and allows the radar to be driven on any wide-screen HDMI monitor that supports 1920 x 1080 resolution.
The processor measures 356.5 x 232.2 x 61 mm, weighs 2 kg and includes a 64 GB solid-state drive. Connectivity comprises three PoE RayNet Ethernet ports (10/100/1,000 Mbits/s), HDMI in and out, two composite BNC video connectors, USB-A and USB-B touch input/output, a USB Micro B accessory port, a TNC GPS antenna connector and a NMEA 2000 DeviceNet connection (NMEA 0183 via the A80721 converter). Wireless connectivity includes Bluetooth V4.0 and dual-band 2.4/5 GHz Wi-Fi.
The processor draws 76.56 W at 12 V dc (71.53 W at 24 V dc), operates from 8 to 32 V dc with a 15 A fuse, and is rated to IPx6 and IPx7. It works with the Pathfinder DCU-2 Data Collection Unit and supports ASTERIX CAT-240 video output and an open REST API for third-party integration.
