Description
The Raymarine Pathfinder 110W Pedestal (E70621-IMO) is the open-array scanner used across the Pathfinder commercial radar range. It pairs Raymarine's solid-state 110 W transceiver (E70621) with a 6 ft fan-less, low-profile slotted-array antenna (E70630) for exceptional clarity and target separation.
The transceiver operates in the X-band at 9370, 9400 and 9430 MHz with a linear receiver and noise figure below 5 dB. CHIRP pulse compression and beam sharpening deliver performance exceeding a 12 kW magnetron, with a 96 NM maximum range scale and antenna rotation selectable at 12, 24, 36, 48 or 60 rpm. The antenna offers a 1.32 degree horizontal and 25 degree vertical beamwidth and withstands wind speeds up to 100 knots.
The fan-less design simplifies installation, reduces maintenance and uses small-diameter interconnect cabling, making the scanner roughly half the weight of comparable magnetron radars. The transceiver weighs 16 kg (388 x 360 x 335 mm) and the antenna 12 kg. It is powered from 24 V dc via a VCM100, or from 110/230 V ac via the AC power kit, and is rated to IPx6 across an operating range of -25 to +55 degrees C.
