Description
This Raymarine A80308 adapter is a Y-cable that lets a Quantum or Quantum 2 radar use the existing cabling from an older Raymarine digital radome. It combines the Quantum's separate power and data connections into a single adapter, so that owners upgrading from a previous digital radar can fit a Quantum without rerunning new cable through the mast.
The adapter presents the Quantum's RayNet data and power connections on one side and the legacy digital radome cable interface on the other. It is the official Raymarine Quantum Y-adapter, listed in the Quantum radar accessory range, and is the recommended way to reuse a serviceable existing cable run when moving to Quantum solid-state radar. This is the genuine Raymarine accessory for the Quantum radar.
