Description
The Raymarine Pathfinder 27 Radar System (T70621) is a complete, type-approved CAT 1 commercial radar built for SOLAS vessels over 10,000 gross tons, including cargo ships, workboats, mega yachts and naval applications. It is built on Raymarine's award-winning radar platform and delivers exceptional resolution, reliability and integration capability.
The system pairs a 27" high-resolution monitor (1920 x 1080) with a 6 ft fan-less, solid-state open array antenna. CHIRP pulse compression and beam sharpening technology provide superior target separation and increased long-range resolution, with radar performance exceeding a 12 kW magnetron and detection of RACON beacons over 5.5 NM. A compact, rugged remotely mounted fan-less black-box processor simplifies installation, and the modern user interface keeps key functions accessible without distracting from the main radar screen.
The system is supplied with the 27" display, a trackball, the 6 ft transceiver, the black-box processor, a 25 metre interconnect cable and a Pathfinder Data Collection Unit (DCU). It is designed for compliance with IMO standards IEC 62288 and IEC 62388 and carries MED (DK-MED000169) and UK MER (UKMA000123) type approvals for the 27" and 32" CAT 1 radar systems. Pathfinder V2.0 software adds ASTERIX CAT-240 video output and an open REST API.
