Description

The Raymarine Dragonfly 4DVS brings wide-spectrum CHIRP DownVision fishfinding to a compact, easy-to-install 4.3 inch display. The optically bonded all-weather screen delivers brighter colours and sharper contrast and is guaranteed never to fog up, so you spend more time catching fish and less time looking for them.

DownVision uses CHIRP processing centred on 350 kHz to transmit a wide spectrum of frequencies at once, producing a wide side-to-side, thin fore-to-aft fan beam. The result is photo-like imagery of the bottom and structure that makes underwater features easy to interpret, with reliable high-speed bottom tracking. A separate high-frequency CHIRP Sonar channel (centred 200 kHz) adds conventional fish-arch targeting and can reach greater depth, and both channels run together.

The Dragonfly 4DVS is supplied with the CPT-DVS transom-mount transducer and a ball and socket mounting kit. It is a dedicated fishfinder with no built-in GPS chartplotter or Wi-Fi. This product is discontinued.

What is the Raymarine Dragonfly 4DVS?
The Dragonfly 4DVS is a discontinued 4.3 inch CHIRP DownVision and CHIRP Sonar fishfinder. It is supplied with a CPT-DVS transom-mount transducer. It does not have a built-in GPS chartplotter or Wi-Fi.
What is CHIRP DownVision?
DownVision uses CHIRP processing centred on 350 kHz to transmit a wide spectrum of frequencies at once, producing a wide side-to-side, thin fore-to-aft fan beam. The result is sharp, photo-like sonar images of the bottom and structure.
What is the difference between the DownVision and Sonar channels?
DownVision (centred 350 kHz) gives a high-resolution, photo-like view of structure and the bottom. The conventional CHIRP Sonar channel (centred 200 kHz) uses a conical beam for classic fish-arch targeting and can reach greater depth. This model runs both at the same time.
Does it have GPS or charts?
No. This model is a dedicated fishfinder and does not include a GPS chartplotter or Wi-Fi. For built-in GPS, Wi-Fi and chart support choose a Dragonfly Pro model.
What transducer does it use and can I replace it?
It ships with the CPT-DVS transom-mount transducer. The replacement transducer is sold separately as part number R70374.
What is in the box?
The unit ships with the display, the ball and socket transom mounting kit, the CPT-DVS transducer with its combined power and data cable, and the documentation pack.
