Description
The FLIR MTMS Maritime Thermal Monitor System packages the FLIR AX8 dual thermal/visible camera into a complete vessel monitoring solution. The AX8 core provides 80x60 thermal imaging with FLIR MSX image enhancement, alongside a 640x480 visible camera, offering temperature measurement from -10 to +150 degrees C with accuracy of +/-2 degrees C. Up to five alarms can be configured on any temperature measurement zone, with alerts delivered via on-screen notification, digital output, email, or FTP. The system connects via 100 Mbps Ethernet using an M12 connector, supports PoE (IEEE 802.3af), and communicates via Ethernet/IP and Modbus TCP for integration with onboard systems and Raymarine multifunction displays. The IP67-rated sensor installs permanently in engine rooms, machinery spaces, or bilges.
