Description
The FLIR Ocean Scout 640 delivers the highest image resolution in the Ocean Scout handheld range with its 640x480 pixel uncooled microbolometer thermal detector. The 18-degree field of view balances search area with target resolution, and the 7.5 Hz frame rate provides smooth, low-latency thermal imagery suitable for maritime watchkeeping. Built-in NTSC video output enables connection to an external monitor, chart plotter, or recording device, extending the system's utility beyond handheld use.
