Description
This Raymarine T453 kit pairs the T453 pan and tilt thermal night vision camera with the dedicated T Series Joystick Control Unit (JCU) for direct, tactile control of pan, tilt and zoom. The T453 combines a 640 x 480 (VGA) FLIR thermal detector plus a black and white low-light visible camera, turning invisible heat into a clear video image of vessels, navigation marks, debris and people in the water in low light and complete darkness.
The rugged, waterproof gimbal provides continuous 360 degree pan and plus or minus 90 degree tilt, with automatic window de-ice heaters and FLIR Proprietary Digital Detail Enhancement for clear, automatically optimised imagery. The 25 mm lens gives a 25 x 20 degrees field of view.
The included T Series Joystick Control Unit provides ergonomic access to all critical camera functions and connects over Ethernet, and the camera can also be controlled from a Raymarine multifunction display. This model outputs PAL video at a 25 Hz refresh rate.
