Description
This Raymarine T470SC kit pairs the T470SC pan and tilt thermal night vision camera with the dedicated T Series Joystick Control Unit (JCU) for direct, tactile control of pan, tilt and zoom. The T470SC combines a 640 x 480 (VGA) FLIR thermal detector with a colour low-light visible camera and 2-axis gyro stabilisation, turning invisible heat into a clear video image of vessels, navigation marks, debris and people in the water in low light and complete darkness.
The rugged, waterproof gimbal provides continuous 360 degree pan and plus or minus 90 degree tilt, with automatic window de-ice heaters and FLIR Proprietary Digital Detail Enhancement for clear, automatically optimised imagery. The 35 mm lens gives a 18 x 14 degrees field of view.
The included T Series Joystick Control Unit provides ergonomic access to all critical camera functions and connects over Ethernet, and the camera can also be controlled from a Raymarine multifunction display. This model outputs PAL video at a 9 Hz refresh rate.
