Description

The Raymarine B60 is a 600 W dual-frequency bronze thru-hull transducer that reports depth and temperature to compatible Raymarine CHIRP sonar and fishfinder systems. Airmar Tilted Element technology fixes the ceramic element at a 12 deg offset, building in deadrise compensation for hulls in the 8 - 15 deg range so the beam fires straight down without a separate fairing block. The B60 transmits at 50 kHz with a wide 45 deg beam for depth in deeper water and at 200 kHz with a 12 deg beam for high-resolution detail, reaching up to 1,200 ft at low frequency and 700 ft at high frequency. The low-profile bronze housing suits fibreglass and wood hulls and is supplied with a 9.1 m (30 ft) cable terminated for connection to Raymarine CP370, CP300, DSM30 and DSM300 sonar modules.

Which Raymarine units does the B60 connect to?
The B60 is terminated for Raymarine CP370, CP300, DSM30 and DSM300 sonar modules. An adaptor may be required for other systems.
Do I need a fairing block?
No. The 12 deg Tilted Element offset compensates for hull deadrise in the 8 - 15 deg range, so the beam points straight down without a fairing block.
What is the difference between the 50 kHz and 200 kHz frequencies?
50 kHz uses a wide 45 deg beam for greater depth penetration in deeper water, while 200 kHz uses a narrow 12 deg beam for sharper detail and better performance in shallower water.
