Description

The Raymarine B75L is a low-profile, CHIRP-ready bronze thru-hull transducer for smaller boats such as centre consoles. It transmits across the 40-75 kHz CHIRP low-frequency band and records both depth and water temperature.

This version carries a Tilted Element fixed at 12°, suiting hulls with a 8 - 15° deadrise. Installed almost flush to the hull, the tilt corrects for deadrise by orienting the beam directly down, ensuring maximum echo returns for accurate depth readings. The B75 can be fitted singly or as a pair.

Used individually the transducer installs with a single operation cable (A80328); installed in pairs, two transducers join with a Y-cable (A102146). Either installation finishes with a 3 m (A102148), 5 m (A102150) or 10 m (A80327) CHIRP extension cable, connecting to Axiom 2 Pro RVM, RVX1000, RVM1600 and CP450C/CP470/CP570 modules. The fitted cable is 10 m (33 ft).

What does the 12° tilted element do?
The B75L has its ceramic element fixed at a 12° angle so the transducer can be installed almost flush to a hull with a 8 - 15° deadrise. The tilt aims the beam straight down for maximum echo return and accurate depth readings.
Which cable do I need to run the B75L?
Used on its own, the B75L installs with a single transducer operation cable (A80328). Installed as a pair, two transducers join with a transducer Y-cable (A102146). Either installation finishes with a 3 m (A102148), 5 m (A102150) or 10 m (A80327) CHIRP extension cable.
What sonar systems is it compatible with?
Via the CHIRP cable system the B75L works with Axiom 2 Pro RVM, RVX1000, RVM1600 and CP450C/CP470/CP570 CHIRP sonar modules.
