Description

The Raymarine DT800 is a smart depth and water-temperature transducer for Raymarine instrument and chartplotter systems. Its SeaTalkng output plugs straight into your network so the readings appear on every connected device, with calibration carried out from a networked Axiom display or i70s instrument.

This variant uses a bronze housing, the right choice for fibreglass or wood hulls, and carries a 12 degree tilted element to compensate for hull deadrise on V-bottom boats. The DT800 operates at 235 kHz to avoid interference with other onboard sounders and provides 100 Watts of power for accurate depths from 0.5 m (1.6 ft) to 180 m (600 ft). The retractable insert with water valve makes maintenance simple, and the 6 m (20 ft) cable terminates in a SeaTalkng connector.

What does the DT800 Smart measure?
It measures water depth and water temperature, sending the data digitally over SeaTalkng to your connected instruments and chartplotters.
What is the difference between the 0 and 12 degree versions?
The 0 degree element is for flat (horizontal) mounting on shallow-deadrise hulls; the 12 degree tilted element compensates for hull deadrise on V-bottom boats so the beam points straight down.
Will it clash with my fishfinder?
No. The DT800 runs at 235 kHz, away from the 50/200 kHz fishfinder band, so the two sounders do not interfere with each other.
