Description
The Raymarine RSW Smart Wind transducer is a high-accuracy masthead wind sensor designed for performance sailors. It combines a lightweight, rigid carbon arm with precision sensing electronics, including a three-axis accelerometer that measures mast rotation, pitch and roll for highly accurate apparent wind data even in a seaway.
The supplied NMEA 2000 wired gateway connects the transducer to a SeaTalk ng or NMEA 2000 network using the included SeaTalk ng to DeviceNet adaptor cable. When paired with a compatible Raymarine multifunction display running LightHouse, the RSW delivers calibrated true and apparent wind. This short-arm version is supplied with a 30m (98.4ft) mast cable; a 50m cable (R70945) is available separately.
