The isolation kit for the Raymarine RV-400 stainless-steel thru-hull RealVision 3D transducer. It electrically isolates the stainless-steel transducer body from a dissimilar-metal hull, eliminating the risk of galvanic corrosion when the RV-400 is fitted to a steel or aluminium hull. Supplied as the parts required to insulate the transducer from the hull fitting.

When do I need the RV-400 isolation kit?
Fit the isolation kit whenever the stainless-steel RV-400 transducer is installed in a dissimilar-metal hull, such as steel or aluminium, to prevent galvanic corrosion.
Is the isolation kit needed for fibreglass or wood hulls?
No. Galvanic isolation is only required when the stainless transducer is in contact with a metal hull. Fibreglass and wood hulls do not need it.
