Description
The Raymarine SS164 is a premium 1 kW stainless steel thru-hull transducer transmitting at both 200 kHz (narrow beam for precise bottom definition) and 50 kHz (wide beam for maximum depth penetration). The 12-degree deadrise mount suits the vast majority of powerboat and fishing-boat hulls.
The stainless steel body is highly resistant to corrosion in salt water and the low-profile design minimises turbulence and acoustic interference at speed. The 1 kW output power enables reliable bottom tracking and target separation to depths beyond the capability of standard 600 W transducers, making the SS164 the choice for serious offshore fishing and passage-making.
