Description
The Raymarine i40 Wind is a compact, easy to read sailing instrument that displays apparent and true wind data at a glance. Large digits and a high contrast LCD, lit by bold red backlighting, keep wind speed and wind angle clearly legible from across the cockpit in bright sun or at night. The numeric wind angle readout sweeps a full 180 degrees to port and 180 degrees to starboard.
A built in wind transducer interface connects the display directly to a Raymarine masthead wind vane or RotaVecta wind transducer, and the i40 Wind calculates both apparent and true wind from the vane and your boat speed. A high wind speed alarm warns you when the wind exceeds your chosen threshold.
Built on the SeaTalk network, the i40 Wind shares its data with other SeaTalk instruments and autopilots and can act as system master or as a repeater. Low power consumption and a rugged, weatherproofed IPX6 case make it a dependable choice for both new installations and the renewal of older instrument systems.
