Description
The IRIS251 is a pocket-sized thermal imaging handscope for marine, search and outdoor use, letting you see beyond the visible spectrum in complete darkness. Its 384 x 288 thermal detector pairs with a 25mm lens for a tighter, longer-reach field of view than the standard handscope optic, making it well suited to spotting people, vessels and obstacles at a distance.
Built-in WiFi streams live video to a smartphone or tablet and lets you save snapshots and footage to your device, while a composite video output relays the image to an auxiliary screen. Selectable thermal colour palettes help pick out differences in scene temperature, and the rugged, hand-held design is intended for use afloat, on patrol and in the field.
