Description
The Victron AC Current sensor measures AC current and power, and is used to monitor a PV inverter or other AC source connected to the input or output of a Multi or Quattro. Those readings can then be shown in the system and sent to the VRM portal by a GX device, giving visibility of AC energy that the inverter/charger would not otherwise see.
The sensor plugs into the AUX or temperature-sense input of the inverter, Multi or Quattro on the same phase being measured, and its range is set with onboard dip switches. It is enabled and configured using the AC Current sensor assistant in VEConfigure. A simple, low-cost way to add external AC measurement to a Victron system.
