Description
The Victron Anti-Islanding Box 63A is a ready-built grid-protection unit for adding to a grid-feeding Victron inverter/charger (ESS) system so it meets local anti-islanding requirements. It combines the Ziehl UFR1001E voltage and frequency relay, two in-line contactors and a main circuit breaker in a single IP65 enclosure, rated up to 63A per phase and suitable for single or three-phase systems.
Anti-islanding protection disconnects the system from the public grid if the grid fails, protecting people and equipment and satisfying the utility standards required for grid-connected generation. Supplying it as a pre-assembled box removes the work of sourcing and wiring the individual protection components. Confirm the exact standard your installation must meet with your network operator.
