Description
The Ziehl UFR1001E is a voltage and frequency monitoring relay used for anti-islanding protection on systems that generate their own electricity and feed into the public grid. It continuously monitors mains voltage and frequency and disconnects the generating system if they move outside safe limits, satisfying grid-connection requirements such as VDE-AR-N 4105, G59/3 and G83/2.
It is a dual-channel, one-fault-proof design, with the input circuit, A/D converter, processor and output relay all duplicated for reliability. This is the standalone relay, for installers building their own protection arrangement rather than fitting the complete pre-assembled anti-islanding box. Confirm the standard your installation must meet with your network operator.
