Description
The EGIS 2012B is a sealed CT Series busbar with twelve circuit positions and a high-amp M8 stud, rated to 200A total. It is most often used as a ground-return block but can equally distribute positive power, improving the robustness of connections that would otherwise be exposed to corrosion or shorting on open busbars, and allowing individual circuits to be pulled and tested for inspection or diagnosis.
The sealed unit (IP67 / IP6K9K) uses a plug-in connector, tin-plated copper-alloy conductors and stainless steel hardware, with high-temperature materials suitable for mounting almost anywhere on a vehicle or vessel. It is ignition protected, carries 22A per terminal, and offers two mounting orientations for a very compact footprint.
