Description
The EGIS 85 Series 4709 is a heavy-duty surface-mount circuit breaker for high-current circuits, pairing automatic over-current protection with manual on/off switching. Rated at 250A and 48 VDC, it uses a Type III trip-free mechanism and supports 12V, 24V, 36V and 48V systems, making it suited to main feeds and other demanding marine and mobile applications.
Sealed to IP67 against dust and water intrusion, the breaker is built for harsh environments and made in the USA from high quality components. Integrated terminal insulators guard against inadvertent shorts to adjacent grounded surfaces, while stainless steel hardware with serrated flange nuts resists corrosion and vibration. High-visibility on/off controls make the breaker status easy to read at a glance.
