Description
EGIS CableCap stud insulators protect wiring terminations against accidental shorts or incidental contact, and are commonly fitted to starters, solenoids, alternators, generators, windlasses and battery terminals. This black variant suits the largest 4/0 to 3/0 AWG terminations with a terminal diameter up to 32.5mm (1.28 inch) and a post height of 38.1mm (1.5 inch).
Moulded from high-temperature PVC with a UL-94 V2 flammability rating, the cap offers rugged construction for use anywhere on a vehicle or vessel. Black is used for negative-side insulation, and the design supports industry standards by covering live terminations to prevent electrical hazards.
