Description
EGIS CableCap stud insulators protect wiring terminations against accidental shorts or incidental contact, and are commonly fitted to starters, solenoids, alternators, generators, windlasses and battery terminals. This black variant suits 4 to 8 AWG terminations with a terminal diameter up to 18.5mm (0.73 inch) and a post height of 22.1mm (0.87 inch). This is the bulk pack version intended for trade and volume use.
Moulded from high-temperature PVC with a UL-94 V2 flammability rating, the caps offer rugged construction for use anywhere on a vehicle or vessel. Black is used for negative-side insulation, and the design supports industry standards by covering live terminations to prevent electrical hazards.
