Description
The EGIS 85 Series 80A surface mount circuit breaker pairs automatic thermal overload protection with a manual ON/OFF switch, so it doubles as a master disconnect for the circuit it protects. It is rated to 48V DC, suiting 12V and 24V systems, and is sealed to IP67 against dust and water intrusion for harsh marine and mobile installations.
A Type III trip-free mechanism opens the circuit on a genuine overload even if the lever is held closed, and the breaker resets manually once the fault clears. Reinforced surface mount tabs withstand sustained vibration, integrated terminal insulators guard against inadvertent shorts to adjacent surfaces, and stainless steel hardware keeps connections secure. The breaker is made in the U.S.A. and supplied in a bulk pack.
