Description

The EGIS 4712 is a panel-mount medium duty circuit breaker that combines automatic over-current protection with manual on/off switching. Rated at 30A and 32 VDC, it uses a trip-free, push-to-reset mechanism and meets ABYC E-11 interrupt requirements, making it well suited to demanding marine and mobile electrical panels.

The breaker is CE marked and made in the USA from high quality components. A compact footprint allows several units to be installed close together for high panel density, while anti-rotation, corrosion-resistant locking hardware and a 10-32 threaded mounting stud ensure a secure, long-lasting fit. It withstands an inrush rating of 35 times its current rating at half a cycle and offers an electrical endurance of 6,000 cycles at 14 VDC.

Does this breaker also work as a switch?
Yes. It combines automatic over-current protection with manual on/off switching, so it can be used to isolate the circuit.
What does trip-free mean?
A trip-free breaker will still trip on a fault even if the button is held in, so it cannot be forced to stay closed during an over-current condition.
Does it meet marine standards?
Yes. It meets ABYC E-11 interrupt requirements and is CE marked.
How is it mounted?
It is panel-mounted using a 10-32 threaded stud with anti-rotation, corrosion-resistant locking hardware.
