Description

The EGIS 7614 is a TH-Series dual-battery charge manager that combines an 80A automatic charging relay (ACR) and an 80A time delay relay (TDR) in one sealed 12V module, for a 160A total continuous rating. The ACR automatically combines a start and auxiliary battery when a charge source is present and isolates them when charging stops, while the integrated TDR provides an independently programmable timed output for keep-alive or end-of-shift loads, replacing two separate devices in a single compact unit.

An ultra-low off-state current draw of 1.5mA means it draws less than 1 amp-hour per month during stand-by, so batteries are not depleted during downtime. Top-side dip switches set the time delay from 5 seconds to 16 hours and select active features, while on-board and remote LED diagnostics report relay status and pending off events. The sealed enclosure is waterproof to IP66/IP6K9K, ignition protected to ISO 8846 and built with 100% non-ferrous, corrosion-resistant stainless-steel self-locking hardware so it can be mounted almost anywhere. A Molex MX-150 integral connector with a two-foot ground and ignition mating harness is included for rapid, correct field connection.

What is the difference between the ACR and TDR outputs on the 7614?
The 7614 combines two functions in one unit. The 80A automatic charging relay (ACR) output automatically combines two battery banks while a charge source is present and isolates them when charging stops, protecting the start battery. The 80A time delay relay (TDR) output is an independently programmable switched circuit that stays on for a set time after a trigger event, ideal for keep-alive or end-of-shift loads.
How is the time delay set?
The time delay is programmed using top-side dip switches that are accessible after installation under a self-retained cover. The delay can be set from 5 seconds up to 16 hours, and the same dip switches also select which features are active.
What does the bulk pack include?
The 7614B is the bulk-packaged version of the 7614 dual-battery charge manager and is functionally identical to the retail unit. It ships in plain bulk packaging with the Molex MX-150 mating connector and two-foot ground and ignition harness.
Is the 7614 suitable for harsh or wet environments?
Yes. The unit is sealed and waterproof to IP66 and IP6K9K, ignition protected to ISO 8846, and built with 100% non-ferrous corrosion-resistant materials and stainless-steel self-locking hardware, so it can be mounted in exposed locations.
