Description

The EGIS XD Series Flex 2 Dual combines two independent 500A circuits in a single compact module, replacing two individual high-current devices and the cables that would link them. Here an automatic charging relay (ACR) shares charge current between banks while an electronic battery-disconnect switch isolates a main bank, replicating common dual-battery switching and charge-management functions for two and three battery systems. Each circuit is rated 500A continuous and 1500A maximum cranking across an 8 to 36 V DC range, covering standard 12V and 24V marine electrical systems.

Construction is sealed to IP67 and IP6K9K with high-temperature electronics, an integrated Gortex vent and stainless steel cable-lug studs that accept 1/4-20 / M6 hardware. The circuits are dip-switch programmable under the included protective cover, and the ACR circuit carries a three-position manual override knob for clear, lockable open or closed control. Off-state draw is just 1.3 mA, front and remote LEDs report status, and the Deutsch DTM connector is pin-for-pin compatible with legacy ML Series bi-stable relays. The system expands with 8790 link and 8791 cross-link busbars.
