Description

The EGIS e-Series 2402 is a medium-duty four-position battery selector switch rated at 350A continuous and 600A intermittent, fitted with alternator field disconnect (AFD). The AFD contacts open the alternator field circuit before the main battery contacts break, protecting the alternator from damaging voltage spikes if the switch is operated while the engine is running.

Its Off/1/Both/2 positions manage two battery banks, while a 32-48V DC rating and IP66 sealing make it suitable for harsh, high-vibration 12V and 24V installations. The switch is ignition protected, uses serrated flange lock-nuts to resist cable-terminal loosening, and offers surface and rear-panel mounting as a drop-in replacement for legacy OEM switches. Backed by a 4-year warranty.
