Description
The EGIS MEGA Fuse Block protects an individual high-current circuit from short-circuit events and over-current loads, preventing wire insulation overheating and subsequent damage. High-tolerance mounting hole provisions allow fast installation across a variety of mounting plate preparations, and the block can be mounted adjacent to battery systems regardless of location. M8 stainless steel self-locking hardware and serrated flange lock nuts keep cable terminals secure in high-vibration environments.
A flexible black cover provides full 360-degree access for cables and terminals while preventing inadvertent short circuits, and the block carries an IP66 ingress protection rating and is CE marked, with a 58V DC maximum rating that suits 12, 24, 36 and 48V nominal systems. Interlocking dove-tail connections in the composite base allow side-by-side stacking, and the input stud length supports a common busbar across stacked blocks. Designed and made in the U.S.A. and backed by a four year warranty.
