Description
The EGIS MIDI 5-Way Sealed Fuse Block protects up to five branch circuits using M8 studs on both the input and the outputs, allowing heavier output cabling than M6 designs. Each output is protected by a MIDI/AMI fuse up to 200 amps, with a total continuous rating of 500 amps. Sealed to IP66 and IP6K9K with a Gore-Tex vent and ignition protected to SAE J1171, it can be mounted in demanding locations on modern vessels and vehicles. Tin-plated copper busbars deliver minimal voltage drop, and large mounting holes accept 1/4 inch (M6) attachment hardware.
A latching protective cover shields the output studs and cable terminals from inadvertent shorts, carries a label for naming fused circuits, and stores two spare fuses and four spare screws. Stainless steel self-locking hardware ensures vibration-resistant connections, and the glass-filled nylon housing offers long service life. The block is FLEX system compatible, expanding with dual, triple and quad link busbars alongside EGIS MT Series and XD Series products. Designed and made in the U.S.A. and backed by a four year warranty.
