Description

The EGIS 75A dual diode relay combines reliable high-current switching with built-in protection for sensitive electronics. A dual diode circuit suppresses flyback voltage so it does not feed back into the control signal circuitry, making this relay a strong choice where delicate electrical systems must be protected. Bifurcated contacts reduce contact bounce and wear for efficient switching and long service life.

It carries 75A continuously at 23C and handles a 150A inrush for up to three seconds for equipment start-up loads. Built for harsh conditions with a 125C temperature rating, IP54 ingress protection and reinforced mounting tabs, it meets or exceeds IEC 60068 shock and vibration standards. Offset terminals with an integrated divider guard against accidental shorts, and shielded flat blade connectors with zinc-plated M5 screws speed up installation.

What does the dual diode do?
The dual diode circuit suppresses flyback voltage during switching so it does not feed back into the control signal circuitry, protecting sensitive electrical systems.
How is this different from the standard 75A relay?
It shares the same 75A bifurcated-contact platform but adds dual diode flyback protection, making it the better choice for circuits with sensitive electronics.
Can it handle high start-up loads?
Yes. It is rated for 75A continuously at 23C and a 150A inrush for up to three seconds.
Is it suitable for harsh environments?
Yes. It carries an IP54 rating, a 125C temperature rating and meets IEC 60068 shock and vibration standards.
