Description

The EGIS RT Series 6-Way Fuse Block is a modular ring-terminal distribution block that protects branch circuits by accepting ATO, ATC and ATF style fuses rated from 1 through 40A. A blown-fuse LED on each of the six output circuits gives a clear indication of faulty circuits, speeding fault correction and making it easier to diagnose customer issues remotely. The modular design works with the 8028 and 8030 blocks to produce seven unique configurations, helping to reduce the number of part numbers held in stock for varied build requirements.

Built in the U.S.A., the block is designed for harsh environments with bullet-proof high-temperature construction and 100 percent non-ferrous stainless steel self-locking hardware that allows mounting almost anywhere on a vehicle. It supports SAE circuit protection standards for thermal and short circuit events, provides two spare fuse locations per six circuits, and accepts optional weather-proof labels in standard or customised options. A cover with label recesses protects the terminal studs and cable terminals from inadvertent shorts.

What does the blown-fuse LED indication do?
A blown-fuse LED is fitted to each output circuit. When a fuse fails, the LED lights to clearly identify the faulty circuit, which speeds troubleshooting and makes it easier to diagnose issues remotely.
What fuses does this block accept?
It accepts ATO, ATC and ATF style blade fuses rated from 1 through 40A per circuit, with a maximum of 30A per circuit and 100A across the whole block.
Does this block provide a ground return?
No. The 6-way block distributes fused positive circuits only. If you need an integrated ground return, see the RT Series blocks supplied with a ground block.
