Description

The EGIS 7616 is a TH-Series dual-output time delay relay (TDR) for 12V electrical systems, providing two independently timed outputs rated at 80A continuous each, for a 160A total. Each output can be used as a remotely controlled switch or operate autonomously, turning off after a programmed delay following a trigger event or optionally when input voltage falls too low. This makes it ideal for managing keep-alive, end-of-shift and auxiliary circuits from a single compact device.

An ultra-low off-state current draw of 1.5mA equates to less than 1 amp-hour of battery dissipation per month of stand-by, protecting batteries during downtime. Time delays are set from 5 seconds to 4 hours using top-side dip switches that also enable optional features such as under-voltage and over-voltage load protection, while on-board and remote LED diagnostics indicate output status and pending off events. The sealed enclosure is waterproof to IP66/IP6K9K, ignition protected to ISO 8846 and built with stainless-steel self-locking hardware and 100% non-ferrous materials. A Molex MX-150 integral connector with a two-foot ground and ignition harness is included for rapid, correct field wiring.

How many outputs does the 7616 have and how are they rated?
The 7616 provides two independently timed outputs, each rated at 80A continuous, for a combined 160A total. Each output can be timed separately, so you can manage two circuits with different delays from a single unit.
What time delay range can be set?
Each output can be programmed from 5 seconds up to 4 hours using the top-side dip switches. The same dip switches also enable optional features such as under-voltage and over-voltage load protection.
Can the outputs turn off automatically?
Yes. Each output can operate as a remotely controlled switch or autonomously, turning off after the programmed time delay following a trigger event, or optionally if the input voltage drops too low.
What does the bulk pack include?
The 7616B is the bulk-packaged version of the 7616 dual-output time delay relay and is functionally identical to the retail unit. It ships in plain bulk packaging with the Molex MX-150 mating connector and two-foot ground and ignition harness.
