Description

The EGIS XD Series Dual + Triple Battery-Switch Kit is a pre-configured bundle that pairs a two-circuit Dual module (Relay/ACR) with a three-circuit Triple module configured Switch/ACR/Switch, giving five independent 500A circuits for a larger multi-bank electrical system. The dual module switches a load and shares charge through an automatic charging relay, while the triple module places a second automatic charging relay between two electronic battery-disconnect switches, replacing traditional mechanical battery switches for the main banks. The supplied link busbars join the units directly. Every circuit is rated 500A continuous and 1500A maximum cranking across an 8 to 36 V DC range.

Both modules share the proven XD construction: sealed to IP67 and IP6K9K, high-temperature electronics, integrated Gortex vents and stainless steel cable-lug studs that accept 1/4-20 / M6 hardware. Each circuit is dip-switch programmable under its included protective cover, carries a three-position manual override knob and reports status via front and remote LEDs, with off-state draw of just 1.3 mA. Deutsch connectors are pin-for-pin compatible with legacy ML Series bi-stable relays. Supplied as a bulk pack for OEM and trade installation.

What is included in this kit?
The kit bundles one XD Dual module configured Relay/ACR and one XD Triple module configured Switch/ACR/Switch, together with link busbars to interconnect them. That gives five independent 500A circuits, including two electronic battery-disconnect switches.
How is this different from the Triple + Dual kit?
This kit is led by the Dual Relay/ACR module and pairs it with a Triple that uses two battery-disconnect switches around a charging relay. The constituent modules and their order differ from other XD kits, so confirm the configuration for the right match.
Do I need extra cables to link the two units?
No. The supplied link and crossover busbars join the modules directly, removing separate cable runs and the risk of link cables vibrating loose.
Will it work on both 12V and 24V systems?
Yes. The XD Series operates across an 8 to 36 V DC range, covering standard 12V and 24V marine electrical systems.
