Description
The EGIS XD Series Flex 2 Dual combines two independent 500A relay circuits in a single compact module, replacing two individual high-current relays and the cables that would link them. Configured as a switched relay plus an automatic charging relay (the voltage-sensitive relay, or VSR), it handles dual-battery load switching alongside automatic charge sharing between banks, and suits two and three battery systems. Each circuit is rated 500A continuous and 1500A maximum cranking across an 8 to 36 V DC range, covering standard 12V and 24V marine electrical systems.
Construction is sealed to IP67 and IP6K9K with high-temperature electronics, an integrated Gortex vent and stainless steel cable-lug studs that accept 1/4-20 / M6 hardware. Each circuit is dip-switch programmable under the included protective cover and carries a three-position manual override knob for clear, lockable open or closed control. Off-state draw is just 1.3 mA, front and remote LEDs report status, a 40-circuit weatherproof label set is included, and the Deutsch DTM connector is pin-for-pin compatible with legacy ML Series bi-stable relays. The system expands with 8790 link and 8791 cross-link busbars.
